About

The story

Tucked into the folds of the countryside near Cirencester, Siccaridge Wood is the kind of place you find by looking rather than by fame. Ancient in character and gloriously overlooked, its slopes fill each spring with a haze of bluebells drifting between old trees, birdsong threading the still air. There are no crowds here, no visitor bustle — just dappled light, soft paths and the sense of having slipped into an older, gentler Britain. A wood for slow wandering and quiet wonder, best savoured in the fleeting weeks of late April and May.
