The sweeping Borders panorama that stole Sir Walter Scott's heart — the triple Eildon Hills above a silver curl of the Tweed.

About
The story
High on the B6356 above Melrose, Scott's View opens onto one of the finest prospects in the Scottish Borders: the River Tweed looping through patchwork farmland below the three peaks of the Eildon Hills. It was Sir Walter Scott's favourite outlook, and it remains a place to linger, breathe and simply look. Come at dawn for mist pooling in the valley, or at dusk when the light turns the hills to bronze. A short pull-off leads straight to the view, making it as generous as it is beautiful.
