About
The story
Follow the wooded path along the River Braan and the trees grow ever taller, until you reach one of Britain's most theatrical woodland moments: Ossian's Hall, an 18th-century folly perched directly over the roaring Black Linn Falls. Some of the tallest trees in the country soar overhead, filtering the light into green cathedral gloom. It is beautiful in every season — bluebell-lit in spring, molten gold in autumn, dramatic after rain when the falls run full. A short walk that lingers long in the memory, and reliably one of Perthshire's finest.
