About
The story
Channel Farm has been worked by the same family for three generations, and since 2005 their larder above Loch Leven has grown into one of Scotland's most quietly assured farm shops. The food hall leans on the farm and its neighbours — Perthshire berries, Scottish cheeses, their own vegetables in season — while the kitchen serves lunches with the loch spread out below and Lomond Hill rising behind. The Loch Leven Heritage Trail runs along the shore at the foot of the fields, so you can walk to lunch the long way round, past reed beds loud with birdsong, and earn your place at the table.
