About
The story
Tucked into Glen Falloch north of Loch Lomond, the Falls of Falloch tumble over dark rock into a broad, brooding pool ringed by mossy boulders and pine. It's one of Scotland's most celebrated wild swimming spots — the sort of place where the shock of cold water and the roar of the falls stay with you long after you've dried off. A short walk from the roadside brings you to a natural amphitheatre of water and stone, best savoured on a bright morning before the crowds arrive. Bring courage, a towel, and respect for the current.
