How Hunters works
- How are places chosen?
- By hand, on merit. Our editors visit, research and write up every place themselves — no venue can pay to appear, and none can pay to rank higher. The rare gold “Editor's Choice” diamond is given, never sold.
- What does saving a place do?
- The heart keeps a place in My Plans, your own corner of the countryside. Gather saves into collections — Sunday drives, dog-friendly weekends — and they'll be waiting on every device you sign in on.
- What is Visit mode?
- A quiet companion for the day out itself: directions, the practical essentials, a private note, and a record of where you've been. Start it from any place — or from the Visit tab.
- What is Hunters Privileges?
- Our membership. It keeps Hunters independent — paid for by readers, not advertising — and opens the countryside a little wider as venues extend privileges to members. One quiet subscription, cancel anytime.
Something not right?
Tell us, and we'll mend it
Spotted a bug, or something that doesn’t feel right? Write to us and a person — not a ticket system — will read it.
hello@Something wrong about a particular place — hours, closure, a detail we should check? The quickest route is “Report a problem” at the foot of that place’s own page; it lands directly with the editors.
